The Mills Media Creative team has kicked off 2017 in great style with a host of successful events, films, photography, and design. We’ve already travelled the length and breadth of the UK (and it’s only March) to produce some excellent work and won a raft of new commissions for later in the year. The team completed the three-day Spring Show for Wyevale Garden Centres at the Stoneleigh Centre in Warwickshire.
Some eight months in the planning, the show was a huge success and sets the Wyevale business up for a very exciting spring season.
New sponsors HSBC (replacing Sky) were on hand to present a host of awards to cycling’s finest.
This was our 13th show for the organisation and it’s truly great to see so much emerging talent to ensure the sport’s unparalleled success continues.
The Mills exhibition team has also been in great demand with several shows in Birmingham and London.
Regular clients GBI Racing and Cabfind have completed large scale exhibitions and new, local client CTI, used our skills and design experience to place themselves firmly on the international stage at the Business Travel Show, Olympia.

This is our third event for Wyevale and this years was the largest yet. As a client, Wyevale Garden Centres call upon all our creatives, including conference, video, stills, design, and event management.

We quickly then moved from gardening to bikes with the 2017 British Cycling Awards in Birmingham.

Meanwhile, our business TV production unit has been filming a mixed bag of programmes. From medical procedures involving postpartum haemorrhage to submarine nuclear waste, the team quickly changed hats (and outfits) to film extensively at the Wyevale Spring Show, capturing the event from beginning to end. New commissions this month include another 3D animation project for Vernacare and a promo for DTG Finn who excel in chocolate dragée coating!
And there’s more. Bob Baxter has been out and about and up in the air taking stills for a whole host of clients including B&M Retail, Endress+Hauser, Profile Education, Mpact Thales, Ninja, Wirral Borough Council and Princes Foods (to name but a few). We have also been commissioned to lead an exciting new Wirral project which will be revealed in the coming weeks.
Our design work goes from strength to strength too with new projects for Vimto, Peel Ports, Uncle Joe’s Mintballs and Park Group, not forgetting all their fantastic efforts supporting our live events teams.
So, before we head into the season of daffodils and bunnies, it’s time to draw breath… all be it very briefly. Our forthcoming production schedule is a veritable smorgasbord and in the words of Tolstoy, “Spring is the time of plans and projects.” Hear, Hear!
